Melissa Hancock Elected as CIC-DC President
December 14, 2012 – The Captive Insurance Council of the District of Columbia, Inc. (CIC-DC) today announced that Melissa Hancock has been elected as president of the association effective January 1, 2013. Ms. Hancock has been a member of the CIC-DC board of directors and serves as regional manager for Strategic Risk Solutions.
In related news, Glenn Saslow, partner with Saslow, Lufkin & Buggy, LLP was re-elected to the CIC-DC board of directors.
CIC-DC Announces Event Calendar for 2013
January 31, 2013 – The Captive Insurance Council of the District of Columbia, Inc. (CIC-DC) today announced two half-day educational seminars that it will hold this year in Washington, DC.
The first event, scheduled for May 7, will focus on how employers and organizations can utilize various forms of cell captives to better manage risk. Then on October 8, we’ll highlight legislative/regulatory “hot topics” of interest to captive insurance industry stakeholders in DC and elsewhere.
